Responsibilities

The FP&A Sr. Analyst is responsible for assisting the finance team with the budgeting and forecasting process for all of UVVC from beginning to end.

 

The FP&A Sr. Analyst is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analyses, projects & ad hoc requests. They will provide analyses including financial and expense performance, rate of return, net revenue, working capital, and investments.

 

The FP&A Sr. Analyst is expected to provide analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects and is also responsible for the reconciliation of internal accounts. Additionally, the FP&A Sr. Analyst will identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to FP&A Manager & Director.

 

  • Produces, prepares, and maintains several monthly database reports, analyzing KPIs/statistics/trends and indicating changes of financial impact. Also recommends changes to funding levels and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assists with the annual budgeting process, reviews budget proposals, and understands key indicators for the development of annual budgets.
  • Synthesizes information from multiple sources for modelling purposes to identify critical intelligence and data interpretations; Applies knowledge of the business and relevant technologies in a way that engages business teams to strategize and evaluate possible solutions.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with peers in Finance, other departments, and external stakeholders, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Tracks healthcare reimbursement, payor trends and company analytics as they relate to future cash flows.
  • Maintains individual insurance payer/payment trends and A/R aging categories on a weekly and monthly basis.  Evaluates reimbursement rate trends within various geographic markets, procedure types, and payor mix.

Compensation: $90,000 base salary + bonus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field.
  • 4+ years’ successful experience as a Financial Analyst.
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office required as well as experience with eClinicalWorks, Salesforce, accounting software, and Power Query strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, especially P&Ls.
  • Must exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to provide data both accurately and timely for decision making purposes.
  • Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Must assure discreet and confidential handling of all business information and understand regulatory guidelines.
  • Dependable and eager to learn and grow; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards for the role.
