Responsibilities

The Patient Collections Lead is responsible for oversight of staff, training, and communication within the Patient Collections team. This person will be working patient complaints, completing staff audits, and working to reduce patient accounts receivables.

  • Oversight of Patient Collections staff activities.
  • Review of patient balances to ensure timely collections.
  • Audit of staff metrics and workload.
  • Running and working reports as needed by management.
  • Field questions from Patient Collections team.
  • Assist with patient complaints, bankruptcy and financial hardship requests.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years Patient Collections experience in the healthcare field.
  • Clear understanding of Patient Collections workflows.
  • At least 1-year supervisory experience.
  • Preferred experience working with eClinicalWorks.
  • Strong experience working with Excel.
  • Dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards for the role.
