About the Role:
As a Clinical Technologist, you’ll be a critical member of our team, supporting patient flow and engaging in various clinical support tasks. After completing your initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all job responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
· Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
· Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
· Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
· Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting

· Certification: BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)

· Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program

· Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

· Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology
