Responsibilities

The Knowledge Manager/SharePoint Applications Administrator reports to the CIO and is responsible for managing and supporting the company’s intranet systems and related applications. This role ensures intranet services are secure, efficient, and optimized to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the company’s Policy & Contract Portal Management Application
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SharePoint applications
  • Assist staff with document check-ins, approvals, and updates
  • Maintain application workflows for both existing and new processes
  • Provide training and support to administrators, approvers, and reviewers
  • Develop and maintain secure, efficient, and reliable intranet applications
  • Collaborate with PMO, HR, IT, and Compliance to enforce intranet policies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to intranet applications
  • Monitor intranet performance and implement improvements as needed
  • Ensure seamless integration of intranet systems with company infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials
  • Provide ongoing training and support for intranet users
  • Stay updated on emerging intranet trends and technologies
  • Assist in managing intranet-related projects, upgrades, and implementations
  • Ensure compliance with data security policies and best practices
  • Perform regular backups and recovery tests for intranet applications

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience managing and supporting intranet applications
  • Proficiency in IT support, infrastructure, and software solutions for intranet systems
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar intranet platforms
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Flow, Forms, and PowerApps
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with data security standards and best practices
  • Scripting or PowerShell knowledge is a plus
  • Adaptability to new system technologies to support business needs
  • Must be self-motivated, dependable, and able to meet on-site attendance and punctuality standards
