Responsibilities

The RCM Support Specialist is responsible for administrative duties for the Revenue Cycle Management department including, but not limited to, processing mail and medical records requests, ordering and organizing supplies, and submitting maintenance requests.

  • Retrieves all mail from department mailbox.
  • Maintains the mail spreadsheet and updates addresses as needed.
  • Sorts all mail by markets and departments.
  • Processes all VCC (credit card payments) received in the mail and scans to shared drive for cash posters.
  • Preps and scans remote deposits for all live checks received.
  • Processes medical records requests provided by PEC team.
  • Processes incoming daily fax requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintains inventory, order and distributes supplies for office and kitchen area.
  • Submits maintenance requests as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent problem solving and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team.
  • Able to embrace and adapt to new system technologies to support the business.
  • Dependable: able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards for the role.
