Responsibilities

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst develops BI tools to ultimately equip Leadership with insights related to clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, financial performance, and other business initiatives. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting the company’s mission, vision, and values, and complies with corporate policy and procedures, efficiently managing activities and resources, and ensures appropriate integration with the overall plan for the delivery of care and services.

  • Analyzes current business intelligence or data modeling to support recommendations for action.
  • Navigates databases and BI tools to identify data solutions and assisting in the design and development of dashboards, self-service analytic tools and/or reports to meet organization information needs.
  • Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
  • Ensures integrity and security of all internally generated data.
  • Develops data reporting standardization across all departments and clinics.
  • Data reconciliation of financial statements and operating reports, with the identification and amendment of discrepancies.
  • Performs financial, clinical, and operational analysis using reports from various clinical and non-clinical systems.
  • Provides analysis of clinic/departmental operations from support systems through cost benefit analysis of services, processes, procedures.
  • Integrate operational, financial, and clinical information to assist leadership with business decisions.
  • Works closely with more senior level team members to accomplish goals and provide optimum customer service.
  • Identifies information gaps and provides input to suggested BI Solutions for meeting the need.
  • Assists in documenting business requirements for solution development by effectively articulating and summarizing operational business needs.
  • Educates leaders and operational customers on meaning and use of data to foster data literacy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Business Intelligence experience required.
  • Ability to understand, articulate, and document business concepts and business rules at an executive level.
  • Experience with Power BI and SQL required.
  • Designs and develops dashboards/reports.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on various projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
